Simple Cosy Accessory Remains Favourite = S.C.A.R.F

Whilst the British weather has been throwing a bit of a wobbler lately with many of us getting some blustery cold days, I wanted to make myself a scarf using some odd balls of Sirdar left over from making a project for my Mum at Christmas. There wasn’t enough to do a blanket or clothing and too much just to throw away or sit redundant in my wool box (which is also getting a bit tight on available space). I didn’t use a pattern but got the rough length and width by crocheting a foundation chain roughly the size of my partners scarf (which I loved borrowing recently). Once I had my foundation chain all I did was repeat a line of DC (uk term) followed by TC (uk term) until the width felt right and I ended with a double crochet row. I added some really simple tassels to the width ends and voila - favourite scarf until next winter!
